I say she’s deserving of the award, because she really sacrificed herself for the role. I guess for actresses playing comedic characters, you have to really lose yourself in the role and not be afraid to look ugly or disgusting on TV. And Jamie IS pretty, not that the 2 photos here serve as testimonies to that, but she really is. So, it’s even harder for pretty actresses to win comedic-related awards. Now, am I saying it’s easy for America Ferrara to win such awards?? Hmmm… that’s for you to decide.

Haha, Katherine corrected the narrator when he mispronounced her name during the Emmys. And biy dhoes she has every right to, now that she has an Emmy award under her belt. But was her performance in Grey’s Anatomy that good to shout about?? Playing a supposed hot blonde doctor who has to convince both doctors and patients that she is not just some dumb blonde in the hospital, Katherine was convincing enough. However, I do think that Sandra Oh is more deserving of the award.

Maggie Grace, the hot blonde from Lost Seasons 1 and 2, has gone brunette!

So what has Maggie been up to since her character has been lost from Lost? She is set to star in upcoming movie - “The Jane Austen Book Club”.

The story revolves around a California-based group of women and one man who form a club that meets periodically to discuss Jane Austen novels. As they meet, their lives unfold, with marriages being tested, affairs beginning, unsuitable arrangements becoming suitable and love happening.

Brenneman will play Sylvia, whose husband Daniel (Smits) leaves her after 32 years of marriage. Bello will play Jocelyn, her best friend who never married. Zegers will play an oversexed teen who gets involved with one of the club’s members, while Blunt will portray Prudie, a teacher with a worthy husband but is nagged by fantasies of sex with other men. Grace will play the lesbian daughter of Sylvia and Daniel, while Dancy is Grigg, a sci-fi fan and computer whiz.

Lesbian character… That outta give her acting career a few boost!

I have been disliking Christina Aguilera for some time now because of her trashy dress sense since the Lady Marmalade era but I think truly she has redeem herself in her performance with Tony Bennet at the Emmys. She looks hot in that pink dress and her voice was pitch perfect! Hmmm… who knows? I might even start liking her again…

Rainn Wilson of The Office fame has to compete with the king of hip hop, Kanye West in a rap song contest in order to win… NADA! As Wayne Brady puts it, the people at the Emmys are rich enough; They don’t need no more prizes. Instead, the winner of the rap song showndown will get to present the next award - “Best Reality TV Series” (which explains the whole setup)

Rainn Wilson absolutely stole the show with the rap part of the song “Stronger” - “Let’s get lost tonight, you can be my black Kate Moss tonight…” He’s simply my 3rd most fave actor at The Office. (Again, no prizes for guess who are my top 2)

Finally! Someone that looks normal. Megan Fox of the recent Transformers fame arrives in a hot pink dress. (Yup, she’s the one that plays Shia’s love interest in the movie.) Hmm… I dont know much about her actually, guess I will research and write about her in the coming posts.

Well I seriously didnt know who Robin Thicke was before my feature on the MTV VMAs. He should really consider hiring a better publicist. Well, here’s some background info on our new guy:

Singer/songwriter Robin Thicke was one of the few to define the new millennium’s blue-eyed soul movement. His creamy California skin and sapphire blue eyes were equally charming, but Thicke has merit. He has a soulful disposition similar to Remy Shand, but mix that with the funk of Jamiroquai and you have Thicke’s sultry R&B sound.

Maggie Q is one of the few Asian film stars who have successfully broken into Hollywood, joining the likes of Jackie Chan and Jet Li (Can hardly find another female asian star in fact…) Her most recent outing to date is the Bruce Willis action flick - Die Hard 4.0. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to pull off much acting chops, given the role she was casted in, so she was just left with executing karate chops.

But can anyone deny how attractive she looks? I don’t think so. I do think she still has a few films up her sleeves, but I do hope that the Hollywood bigwigs will cast her in roles that will showcase her acting prowess, rather than just pure looks…
