This video features pledges from many celebrities who are in support of Barack Obama’s projects and vision, as he steps into the Oval office today. Stars present in this video include Dakota Fanning, Hayden Panettiere, Sarah Cayle Wiles, Matt Dallas and plenty other big names.

In connection with the inauguration of  Barack Obama’s  presidency at the end of the month, the Disney channel is also hosting a special to honor military families.

The show is expected to air on January 19th at 8 PM EST.

Expected to grace the event with their performances are teen idols like the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and Demi Lovato.

To be quite honest about it, I have yet to watch Twilight. I’m not sure what appeals to me less, the lead actor or the lead actress. I just don’t find the star quality in them. But I could be mistaken because it seems movie producers see something else. In fact, they have just actually signed Kristin Stewart, the female lead from Twilight, in this edgy movie about the life of rocker Joan Jett and her all girl rock band from the 70’s.

Shooting will begin in early 2009 even as Stewart will also be doing the sequel to Twilight.

I say she’s deserving of the award, because she really sacrificed herself for the role. I guess for actresses playing comedic characters, you have to really lose yourself in the role and not be afraid to look ugly or disgusting on TV. And Jamie IS pretty, not that the 2 photos here serve as testimonies to that, but she really is. So, it’s even harder for pretty actresses to win comedic-related awards. Now, am I saying it’s easy for America Ferrara to win such awards?? Hmmm… that’s for you to decide.
