o rly? ya, rly!
I showed my husband this story this morning (hat tip: Cleolinda), and all we can say is “Why g-d, WHY?” We aren’t Keanu fans in this house (running jokes: “you DO NOT know kung fu!” and “WHOA!”), nor are we K-Fed fans (cough*douche*cough) and I am at a serious loss for a reason why Hugh Laurie and Forest Whitaker would align themselves with such a contrived story. Seriously: cop’s wife dies, cop becomes alcoholic. Cop’s former mentor frames cop for death of cop’s partner. Explosions, yelling, more gunfire in a day than most cops see in a 30-year career, and cop somehow comes out on top in the end. YAWN. That said, if you see it, I’ll let you do a guest review.
Forest Whitaker, Keanu Reeves, K-Fed, Kevin Federline, Hugh Laurie, Night Watch, movies that have a great chance of sucking

I kind of want to see it just to be able to say that I did, and to laugh, but I’m in Philly where chances are the theater will be filled with serious movie-goers. Perhaps I’ll Netflix it.
